Balicopter

Your Safety Is Our Standard

Every flight starts with one non-negotiable: your safety. From the aircraft we choose to the pilots we employ, everything is built around keeping you secure in the air.

Fleet Safety

Newest Fleet in Bali

All aircraft manufactured between 2022 and 2025 — an average fleet age of approximately 2 years. Newer aircraft mean modern avionics, materials, and safety systems.

Turbine Engines Only

Every helicopter in our fleet is powered by turbine engines (Rolls-Royce RR300 and Safran Arrius 2R) — more reliable, smoother, and safer than piston alternatives.

Manufacturer Maintenance

Maintenance follows strict manufacturer-prescribed schedules. All inspections and component replacements are logged and conducted by certified engineers.

Our Pilots

Meet our experienced commercial pilots — each holding a valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-H) with extensive rotary-wing hours across Indonesia.

Certifications & Compliance

Air Operator Certificate (AOC)

Balicopter operates under a valid AOC issued by the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), authorising commercial passenger flights.

Insurance Coverage

Full passenger liability insurance covering every seat on every flight. Comprehensive hull and third-party coverage across all operations.

DGCA Regulatory Compliance

All operations, maintenance, and crew training comply with current Indonesian civil aviation regulations (CASR) and DGCA oversight requirements.

Pilot Licensing

All pilots hold current Commercial Pilot Licences for helicopters (CPL-H) with valid medical certificates and instrument ratings as required.

Pre-Flight Process

Every passenger goes through a structured pre-flight process before boarding.

  1. 1

    Safety Briefing

A thorough briefing covering emergency procedures, headset use, seat belts, door operation, and communication with the pilot.

  2. 2

    Headsets Issued

Active noise-cancelling aviation headsets provided to every passenger for comfort and clear communication during flight.

  3. 3

    Safety Equipment Check

Life vests and onboard safety equipment verified before each departure. Equipment is inspected daily as part of standard operations.

  4. 4

    Passenger Weight Protocol

Accurate weight information is collected from all passengers to ensure the aircraft is loaded within safe operating limits for the conditions.

Weather Policy

We Never Compromise on Weather

If conditions are unsafe for flight — whether due to low visibility, heavy rain, strong winds, or volcanic activity — we will not fly. This decision is always made by the pilot in command and is non-negotiable.

Free Rescheduling Guarantee

If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you can reschedule at no extra cost to any available date — or receive a full refund. No questions asked.
